Upon arriving in New Zealand, we embarked on a unique adventure by renting a Tesla, the epitome of modern luxury. Our journey led us from the airport to Waitomo, where we checked into an extraordinary AirBnB – a meticulously designed plane that once served in World War 2. The evening was filled with anticipation as we booked a thrilling Waitomo cave adventure, immersing ourselves in the mysteries of the underground world.
Day 2: Glowing Wonders and Urban Heights
The morning in Waitomo unfolded with a mesmerizing encounter with glow worms, illuminating the caves with their ethereal light. In the afternoon, we transitioned to the bustling cityscape of Auckland, where the iconic Sky Tower awaited. Checking into the elegant Cordis by Langham, we indulged in the panoramic views from Sky Tower’s Orbit 360. The day was a perfect blend of natural wonders and urban sophistication.
Day 3: Homeward Bound to Omaha
As our time in New Zealand drew to a close, we began preparations to return to Omaha, reflecting on the memories we created in this land of beauty and adventure.
