Our journey around the world has brought us to the enchanting island of Bali, where each day unfolds like a chapter in a tropical fairy tale. Join us as we recount the highlights of our week-long honeymoon adventure in this island paradise.
Day 1: Arrival in Bali
After almost 24 hours of travel, including a layover in Singapore, we finally arrived in Bali, our hearts brimming with excitement. Day 1 was all about rest and recovery from the long journey. Our chosen haven, the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, provided the perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation as we prepared to dive into the wonders of Bali.
Day 2: Unwinding in Bali
Our official first day in Bali was a delight spent entirely at the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel. From the comforting embrace of the luxurious accommodations to the idyllic poolside ambiance, we reveled in the joy of simply being together in this tropical paradise. The day was a seamless blend of rest and leisure—a perfect start to our romantic escapade.
Day 3: Temple Tour and Villa Homala
The cultural exploration kicked off on Day 3 with an early morning temple tour, immersing ourselves in the spiritual richness of Bali. Later in the day, we transferred to the exquisite Villa Homala, a haven of tranquility nestled in the heart of Bali’s lush landscapes. The villa became our sanctuary, a place where love blossomed amidst the beauty of nature.
Day 4: A Day of Rest and Balinese Massage
Day 4 was dedicated to rest, rejuvenation, and the soothing touch of Balinese massage. The villa’s serene surroundings provided the ideal backdrop for unwinding, and the Balinese massage became a shared experience that added a touch of pampering to our romantic getaway.
Day 5: A Pause for Recovery
Unexpectedly, Chelsea fell ill on Day 5, prompting a day of rest in the villa. Despite the setback, the villa’s comforts and the convenience of ordering food allowed us to focus on Chelsea’s recovery and enjoy each other’s company in the midst of a challenging moment.
Day 6: Bali Exploration and Night Safari
Daytime on Day 6 was designated as free time to wander through the vibrant streets of Bali. As night fell, the excitement continued with a Night Safari, where a tiger’s unexpected leap onto our cage became a thrilling highlight of our Bali adventure.
Day 7: Floating Breakfast and Nusa Penida Tour
Day 7 dawned with a floating breakfast, setting the tone for a day of indulgence before embarking on a Nusa Penida Tour, exploring the island’s picturesque landscapes.
Day 8: Wanna Jungle Pool, Rest, and Farewell to Bali
On our final day in Bali, we indulged in the serene beauty of the Wanna Jungle Pool, surrounded by lush greenery—an oasis of serenity and romance. The rest of the day was dedicated to reflection, soaking in the memories of this magical journey. As we bid farewell to the island of gods, we carried with us the love, adventure, and unforgettable moments that defined our Bali honeymoon.
